I ship all pieces in gift-ready packaging (jewelry box, tissue OR small muslin bag.) If you'd like a personalized note included in the package, please add in note to seller at checkout, and I'd be happy to meet your needs.

You can pay for an upgrade on packaging to "gift" which will be a reusable, printed cotton bag with tissue and a handwritten card to your loved one. Patterns may vary. You can private message me to ask any questions! :)

Store precious metals in sealed plastic baggies, in a dark place to help prevent tarnishing. Carbon paper is useful.

If silver & silver-plating should tarnish, polish w/a dry polishing cloth. Copper, silver & brass will likely develop a patina over time as they interact with oxygen. This in no way indicates a defect. Some people have skin that reacts to metals & their skin discolors. This is quite common and harmless.

We are not responsible for any discoloration or accidents with our pieces.

Sterling silver pieces, without stones, may be cleaned using a jewelry solution. Such solutions are unsafe for stones.

Avoid exposing to water & chemicals.

All items are handcrafted with the utmost of love and care, photographed in detail, reinspected prior to shipping, packaged securely and shipped safely w/bubble wrap envelopes or wrap.

They are individual and uniques pieces of art and cannot, in good conscience, be re-sold once worn against skin, body parts or hair, to prevent spreading anything to other people.

I source materials to specifically be nickel-free, based on supplier information. That, however, does not guarantee that they are fully allergen-free as individuals may have specific and unusual allergies. If you have questions and concerns, do message me. As a person with multiple allergies, I take this concern seriously.

If a supplier has mislead us as to the contents of metal parts, wires and findings, it is not our responsibility should you have a reaction.

Trinket and jewelry dishes are made of polymer clay. Simply wipe clean with a damp, soft cloth. Avoid submerging in water or using chemicals.

They should NOT be used for food or put in the microwave, dishwasher or oven.

They're designed to hold tiny items safe on surfaces such as a nightstand, desk or counter.

Your *stocked* items will be shipped out within 1-2 business days. From there, USPS shipping estimates are:
- 2-5 business days for First Class Mail
- 1-3 business days for Priority Mail (domestic U.S.)
- 1-2 business days for Express Mail

*Custom* orders will be put in mail in 2-5 business days, unless otherwise specified. May be longer in busy season of November & December. From there, item should arrive to you within 1-7 business days, depending on which shipping method you choose. Priority & Express mail include insurance, First Class mail does not.

NOTE: in the rare event that an item hasn't arrived within 5 business days, in the continental U.S., call or visit your local post office.

They are not. Silk and leather can not be washed and any other fabrics and materials, used in jewelry or hair accessories, may have adhesives or have the potential to shrink when washed.

Spot cleaning, with a baby wipe may work on certain items. Leather cleaner may work on leather pieces, but that is at your risk and discretion. Moonspun Whimsy is not responsible for any damage to our items incurred through washing or cleaning.

Business days are weekdays, Monday through Friday, non-holiday days. This is a small, individual run business.

For example, a Monday holiday would push back your order by another countable day, but not by a "business" day.

If you order on November 22nd or December 22nd, for example, add another countable day because the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas are non-business days for the USPS (even if they fall on a weekday.)

Moonspun Whimsy is a one woman show, and you will receive a message back within 12-hours, likely sooner.

We're on EST, so please keep that timezone in mind when contacting in off-hours, such as on evenings, holidays and weekends.

Typically, I'm available to respond Monday through Sunday in EST, daytime hours (approximately 8am-6pm.) If I am at a weekend craft fair, I will not be checking my ETSY messages during the show, to attend to customers in person.

It is imperative that you click the correct shipping address at checkout. You have the option to save multiple addresses in your Etsy account and select the correct one at checkout. If an order has already been shipped, with incorrect address,
and it is returned to Moonspun Whimsy, the buyer is responsible for reshipping fees and for any delays in receipt of item. If the package is kept by whomever is at the incorrect address, that is not the responsibility of Moonspun Whimsy. Please double check shipping address whenever you make an online purchase. You may also call your post office to attempt to track down, or redirect, the package. (USPS charges to redirect a package. That would be at expense of the buyer.)

Moonspun Whimsy is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of packages during transit. Insurance claims can only be filed on packages that have insurance, and it does NOT cover package theft. If a USPS package is missing, please contact your local post office. They can give you GPS coordinates of the delivery and help you track down the package.

Photography props such as mannequins, rulers and stands, are used to assist customers in visualizing full, potential range of items and are not meant to represent how items will fit, or look, on the actual customer. Sizing selections are the responsibility of the customer. Do measure, accordingly.

Orders placed using coupons codes, in an unauthorized manner (such as uncovering via a scanning app) will be cancelled.

I offer codes to repeat customers and, on occasion, as limited promotions.
